About Bamboo Pho & Springroll
East meets West, No!, I am not talking about NFL Pro Bowl nor NBA All Star, it's the story of 2 men come from 2 different hemispheres bonded together to create Bamboo Pho & Springroll in Arlington, Texas. Lich Hoang Lee and Sam Weber are good neighbor friends for years, they both have passion of cooking and very much enjoy showing off each other's cooking "art". One day, they both decided to quit the current jobs to start the restaurant venture with simple master plan "I am in charge of the kitchen and you are general manager and services", said Lee. After spending a lot of sleepless nights and of course a lot money; 6 months later, a Pho specialized restaurant is completed and starts serving customers in south west Arlington where area is untapped by other Vietnamese restaurant ventures. Lee often brags about his knowledge and experience in Pho cooking art and other Vietnamese cuisine, he spends numerous times to explain to other people the most important and sometimes neglected and taken for granted parts of preparing pho, "8 hours", he often touted to people that it takes 8 hours just to prepare the broth, "and noodle and the garnishes" he goes on to emphasize the complication of creating a simple bowl of Pho.
